Meet the team behind DPD

DPD was built and is operated by three guys with over 30 years of combined experience running large scale web applications.

After years of working on someone else’s vision of what a company should be we decided to start our own. Wholly owned by the founders, DPD was built because we couldn’t find another option that was purpose-built for selling downloads that wasn’t simply awful.

DPD is completely self funded, profitable, and under active development. We regularly release new features based on vendor demand and do not sit on our laurels when it comes to features, customer experience, or improving conversions for all our vendors. We’re in this for the long haul, so you can be rest assured that DPD will be there for you now and in the future.

DPD is wholy owned by Portal Labs, LLC, a US based North Carolina limited liabiliy corporation.

One of the original founders, Jacob is the lead developer and technical guru behind DPD. Jacob is adept at PHP, Ruby, Python, and has managed sites with 25M+ page views a month.

The other original founder of DPD, Jason focuses on operations and feature development. Jason works closely with DPD vendors and our support team to gather feedback and design new features.
